Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of basrenovationsmedia.com and the BAS Renovations Media pages, videos, games, leaderboards, forms, and other features that link to these Terms (collectively, the "Site"). The Site is operated by BAS Renovations Media ("BAS," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to submit personal information through the Site. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the Site only with permission from a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

Renovation and safety information

Site content is for general educational and entertainment purposes. It is not a substitute for project-specific advice from a licensed contractor, engineer, architect, electrician, plumber, inspector, safety professional, or other qualified expert. The Site is a media property and is not an offer to perform contracting services or create a contractor-client relationship.

Construction and renovation work can involve serious risks, including structural failure, electric shock, fire, falls, hazardous materials, and injury from tools. Conditions, codes, permits, product requirements, and safe methods vary by project and location. Before beginning work, assess the actual conditions, follow current manufacturer instructions and applicable codes, obtain required permits, use proper protective equipment, and hire qualified professionals where appropriate. You are responsible for deciding whether and how to act on Site content.

BAS Arcade games and the leaderboard

Mansion Maze can be played without an account. Its personal best is saved on your device only when game storage is enabled. Tool points are game values, not current product prices, and have no cash value. Product links on the results screen may be affiliate links.

You may play BAS Tool Catch or Mansion Maze without posting a score. Only successful Mansion Maze escapes qualify for its leaderboard. To post a score, you must provide a valid email address and an eligible display name. The email address identifies your leaderboard history and is not displayed publicly. Your display name, best visible score, rank title, placement, and associated submission time may be available publicly, including through the Site's public leaderboard data feed.

When submitting a score, you agree that:

• The information you submit is accurate and the email address is yours or you are authorized to use it.
• Your display name will not be unlawful, deceptive, offensive, infringing, harassing, impersonating, or intended to suggest official BAS status.
• You will not automate play or submissions, manipulate the game or request data, reuse round tokens, evade rate limits, interfere with other players, or submit a fabricated score.
• BAS may validate round data, group rounds by email address, hold unusual scores for review, and hide, restore, reject, or remove entries in its reasonable discretion.

You grant BAS a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, moderate, and publicly display the leaderboard name and game result you submit for the purpose of operating, promoting, and preserving the leaderboard. This license ends when the entry is deleted, except for reasonable backups, legal records, and material already lawfully used.

Rankings may change, ties may be resolved by submission time, weekly boards may reset, and the game or board may be changed or discontinued. Unless BAS separately publishes official promotion rules, leaderboard placement has no cash value and does not entitle a player to a prize.

Email communications

Posting a leaderboard score does not enroll you in marketing. You join the email list only when you separately request it, such as by submitting the signup form or checking the marketing box with a score. Your subscription becomes active when you submit that request. You may unsubscribe using the link in a marketing email or by contacting us.

You are responsible for keeping your email address accurate. We may send service messages needed to respond to your request, including welcome messages and responses to support or privacy requests.

Partnership inquiries

The Work With BAS form is for legitimate business and partnership inquiries. Submitting an inquiry does not create a partnership, agency, employment, confidential, or other contractual relationship and does not require BAS to respond. Do not submit trade secrets or other information you are not authorized to share.

Acceptable use

You may not use the Site to:

• Break the law, violate another person's rights, or submit harmful, fraudulent, or misleading material.
• Probe or bypass security, access nonpublic systems or data, introduce malicious code, or disrupt the Site.
• Scrape, copy, or use automated means to access the Site in a manner that burdens the service or ignores technical restrictions.
• Reverse engineer Site software except to the limited extent such a restriction is prohibited by law.
• Use BAS names, logos, content, or branding to imply sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation without written permission.

Ownership and permitted use

The Site and its videos, photographs, illustrations, game, software, designs, text, logos, branding, and other content are owned by BAS or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. BAS grants you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to access and use the Site for personal, noncommercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You may link to publicly available Site pages in a fair and lawful way. You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, publicly display, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit Site content without permission, except where applicable law expressly permits it.

Affiliate links, products, and linked stores

Some links may be affiliate or referral links. BAS may earn a commission from a qualifying purchase without increasing the price you pay. See our Affiliate Disclosure. Product references reflect general experience or opinion, not a guarantee that a product is suitable for your project.

Purchases are completed through the linked BAS store or a third-party merchant, not through the Site features covered by these Terms. Product availability, pricing, orders, payment, shipping, returns, warranties, and store accounts are governed by the terms presented by that store or merchant. BAS is not responsible for a third-party merchant's products, services, or conduct.

Voluntary tips

The Support the Channel page lets you leave BAS an optional tip through Buy Me a Coffee. A tip is voluntary. It is not required to access Site content and does not purchase a product, service, membership, special access, editorial control, or a promise that BAS will publish a particular video or publish on a particular schedule. BAS Renovations Media is not a charity, and tips are not tax-deductible charitable contributions.

Buy Me a Coffee and its payment providers process the transaction under their own terms and privacy notices. One-time support is generally non-refundable under Buy Me a Coffee's refund policy, subject to any refund it approves and rights that cannot be limited by law. If you choose a recurring support option, you authorize the displayed recurring charge until you cancel it through Buy Me a Coffee. You may submit a payment only if you are legally able and authorized to use the selected payment method.

Third-party services and links

The Site may contain YouTube players, social links, product links, fonts, security tools, and other third-party services. BAS does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, privacy practices, or terms. A link or integration does not necessarily mean BAS endorses the third party. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that service's terms.

Changes, suspension, and termination

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site, including content, games, leaderboard rules, rankings, and features. We may restrict or terminate access, reject submissions, or remove public entries when we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated or action is needed to protect the Site, BAS, users, or others. Where practical, privacy requests concerning retained information remain available after access ends.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site is provided "as is" and "as available." BAS disclaims all express and implied warranties, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, noninfringement, safety, availability, and freedom from harmful code. BAS does not warrant that Site content, game results, rankings, product information, or third-party links will be accurate, current, uninterrupted, or error-free.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of the exclusions above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits a right that cannot lawfully be limited.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BAS and its owners, personnel, affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising from or related to the Site, Site content, a renovation project, a product, a leaderboard entry, or a third-party service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of those parties for all claims arising from or related to the Site will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid BAS specifically to use the Site during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or US $100. These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory and even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose. They do not apply where liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BAS and its owners, personnel, affiliates, and service providers from third-party claims, damages, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Site, your submissions, or your violation of these Terms or another person's rights.

General terms

These Terms and the policies they reference are the entire agreement between you and BAS concerning the Site. If a provision is found unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remaining provisions will remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent; BAS may transfer these Terms as part of a business reorganization or transfer.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the Site changes. We will post the revised version here and update the date above. Your continued use of the Site after revised Terms take effect means you accept them, to the extent permitted by law.
